Bob Arum has promoted some of Boxing’s biggest names in the sport from Oscar De La Hoya, Evander Holyfield, Sugar Ray Leonard to most recently Miguel Cotto. He is one of Boxing’s staples and has promoted some of it’s biggest fights throughout his years while rivaling Don King. Now in a new interview Arum is saying he is backing Affliction and taking a shot towards the UFC and Dana White. Here is what Arum said about who he thinks will end up on top between Affliction and the UFC in a interview with MMA Memories.

“Affliction is on the warpath. One of the things they’ve been successful at, UFC spends a lot on promotion because they don’t pay their athletes. Their contracts will be running out and Affliction is going to get all the better fighters. If it’s a bet between UFC and Affliction, I’m betting on Affliction…How do you like that Dana!”

As we all know Dana White and the UFC have always been criticized for what they pay their fighters by fans and critics alike, so this is no shock to hear. I am pretty sure we will hear Dana White’s response on this soon and we should hear plenty of four letter words and Arum’s name in the same sentence.
