EliteXC Heat’s ratings for last night proved to be solid as they were a big jump over its second show “Unfinished business” but on par with its debut show back in May. It appears that the Kimbo Slice and Gina Carano additions helped a lot as the show also did solid numbers amongst Males 18-49. Here are the numbers that Robert Joyner of MMA Payout.com is reporting.
9:00 p.m. – 3.53 million viewers (#4), A18-49: 1.3/ 4 (#3)
9:30 p.m. – 4.48 million viewers (#3), A18-49: 1.9/ 6 (#2)
10:00 p.m. – 4.37 million viewers (#3), A18-49: 1.9/ 6 (#1)
10:30 p.m. – 4.84 million viewers (#3), A18-49: 2.2/ 7 (#1)
EliteXC’s live gate was a significant improvement over its show in Stockton as well pulling in $826,000 from 9,414 spectators 7,723 which paid. In comparison to EliteXC’s “Unfinished Business” which only had an abysmal 2,871 paid spectators and only pulled in $269,000. It appears the show and EliteXC’s problem was that out of the 2,871 who paid there were a total of 6,572, that means 3,701 people did not pay to see the event. The figures for last nights show come from a report from MMA Junkie.com.

Maybe they should put on Fugitive fights on Fox
Updated - EliteXC’s biggest rival may not be the UFC anymore as Americas Most Wanted once again beat out their show in the males 18 to 49 category according to the Nielsen Ratings.
| 9:00 | CBS | Saturday Night Fights (9p-11p) | 4.30 | 1.9/6 |
| FOX | America’s Most Wanted | 5.44 | 1.7/6 |
Well maybe they shouldn’t give away so many tickets and they will make more money
Pathetic they cant even beat out a 15 year old show that old people watch
