Robert Drysdale

Grappling superstar and Ultimate Fighter season 8 coach for Team Mir Robert Drysdale is set to make his MMA debut this Friday for the TUFF-N-UFF promotion. His first opponent will be 18 year old sensation Josh Musick who brings a 5-0 record into their bout.

The news of Drysdale’s debut was made by Mixed Martial Arts.com, which comes as great news of Jiu-Jitsu and grappling tournaments.

Great support system

Great support system

Drysdale is considered to be the probably the best grappler in the world right now, winning the ADCC open division title by submitting Marcelo Garcia. Drysdale looks to make a successful debut unlike Dream Middleweight tournament finalist Ronaldo “Jacare” Souza, who was knocked out in his debut. Which should not be a problem with the training and preparation of the Xtreme Couture training camp, which now features the likes of Jacare, Tyson Griffin, Sean Tompkins, Jay Hieron and of course Randy Couture. With the support system Drysdale has he should have no trouble transitioning his ADCC success into MMA success as well.
