Thiago Silva’s back injury sometime before UFC 89 prevented a battle of 13-0 vs 13-0 fighters from taking place, against fellow Brazilian Lyoto Machida. The fight was delayed until UFC 94 at the end of January, on Super Bowl weekend as a co-main event along with the BJ Penn and Georges St.Pierre “Super fight”.
Now Tatame caught up with Thiago and Lyoto and had them interview each other about their upcoming bout at UFC 94.

Thiago Silva
Machida began the interview by asking Thiago if he thought he was a difficult fighter.
Silva also had a chance to asked Lyoto to predict their upcoming fight at UFC 94, and the confident Machida says he has the advantage.
Even though Silva vs Machida is still two months away it appears that the two fighters never lost focus off of each other since their mid-October bout was delayed by Silva’s injury. We look forward to seeing this bout as much as BJ Penn vs Georges St.Pierre’s bout at UFC 94. Now lets hope the other 5 UFC events in between can hold us over from now to then.
That takes some balls to tell someone that to their face

@D_day347, Yeah Machida has a big pair to stand there and say that especially because he is very overrated Tito almost had the hypemachine over too.
I hate whne people think he is the next Karate kid or some shit, I would love to see Anderson at LHW instead

Machida is better all around. I like Thiago but he is going to lose for the 1st time at UFC 94

@Fedor is legend, agreed it is very close but Machida is over rated he beat an old Tito, a young Rich, a young Bonner and a fat BJ Penn. So who has he really beaten that matters… NO ONE

If Lyoto gets by Thiago and he gets a shot at the title I feel really bad for the champ if it’s still not Forrest

@cheezed, Expect that title to change hands quite a few times if Machida doesn’t get a title shot
