UFC Fight Night 17 set for Feb.7, 2009

With the UFC set to host a very special edition of Ultimate Fight Night 16 in December for the Intrepid Fallen Heroes Fund to help out military veterans and personnel from traumatic head and brain injuries have set a date for the next UFN edition which will take place on Saturday, February 7.

Sources close to the event have confirmed the news to FiveOuncesOfPain.com that the UFC will be putting up another UFN in February along with Spike TV.

However, a location and venue have not yet been announced as of this time, but the upcoming UFN 16: Fight for the Troops card will feature a main card with welterweights Josh Koscheck taking on Yoshiyuki Yoshida in the main event in Fayetteville, North Carolina just outside of the Fort Bragg military base.

Participants for the upcoming February card has also not been mentioned, but we as usual will keep you posted as to who will be fighting on the card as well as for when a location and venue has been named as well.
