Overeem UFC bound?
Alistair Overeem may not be fighting Mirko Cro Cop at Fields Dynamite, but he is rumored to be facing off against another former Pride FC fighter in Sergei Kharitonov. No official word has been released as of yet, but it appears likely. While he has made a home in Japan with Dream and FEG, Overeem says he may “end up in the UFC” in the near future.
Dream Fighters caught up with Overeem in a new interview and asked him about his statements on UFC Heavyweight champion Brock Lesnar.

Overeem’s plans may be set for the future, but he did also confirm he is fighting on New Year’s Eve at Fields Dynamite, but also said we may be surprised at what rules he fights under.
Overeem may not surprise too many people if he winds up fighting Sergei or another opponent under K-1 rules. Dream Middleweight champion Gegard Mousasi and Mirko Cro Cop are both set to fight under K-1 rules on New Year’s Eve as well. As far as going to the UFC, Overeem would be a great addition to their Heavyweight division.
Overeem would get killed by Fedor thats not even a challenge for him, he should stick to fighting guys on the decline
