Andrei Arlovski may have Fedor Emelianenko’s WAMMA world title in his sights, but he is not the only Russian Champion in “The Pit Bull’s” sights. So is monster sized Boxer Nikolai Valuev who defeated Evander Holyfield in controversial fashion for the WBA Heavyweight title a few weeks ago. It appears that “The Pit Bull” is looking to take on the 7’2″ giant after he fights Fedor Emelianenko at Affliction “Day of Reckoning”, regardless if he wins or loses.
FightHype.com was informed by a source close to Arlovski, and informed them of his signing with Oscar De La Hoya’s “Golden Boy” productions.
“If Andrei wins against Fedor on the 24th, I would put in right into a title fight with Nikolai Valuev right away. It would be Belarus vs. Russia and that’s huge marketing for PPV and Andrei has a huge crowd in that area. He will cross over into boxing though; that is a definite! His next fight after Fedor will be a boxing match.”
UFC president Dana White did say earlier this week when attempting to re-sign Arlovski, that he stated his interest in Boxing.
Arlovski would be the first fighter to crossover to fight for a major title in both sports, if he faced Valuev in the future. It looks like Andrei is not training with Freddie Roach just to prepare for his MMA bouts. We will keep you informed if any new information comes our way on this in the near future.
Boxing sucks but AA is showing he wants to chase the $$$$$

@Tbag420, what’s he gonna do to back and fight for Dana at minimum wage? I would do boxing too
