"The Crow" (R) is back in the UFC
After being successful outside of the UFC since his release in 2006, David “The Crow” Loiseau will be making his return to the big show and will be fighting in front of his countrymen in Montreal, Canada for UFC 97 in the month of April and will be going one on one with former Ultimate Fighter season 3 contestant Ed Herman.
According to a report out of Cageplay.com, both fighters haveconfirmed to them that the possible bout is in the works for the event which will be held at the Bell Centre, the home of the NHL’s Montreal Canadiens.

Ed Herman to face David Loiseau at UFC 97
Loiseau who was a former number one contender tot the UFC Middleweight championship was beaten by then champion Rich Franklin back at UFC 58 in the month of March in 2006. Since then, Loiseau has lost 3 of his next 4 fights, but has turned it around with 3 impressive victories with his last victory coming against another former UFC fighter in Solomon Hutcherson at an XMMA event to win the promotion’s Middleweight title and now finds himself back in the UFC fold.
Meanwhile; Herman has lost his last 2 UFC fights coming on the short of a split decision to Alan Belcher at UFC Fight Night 15 this past September and was submitted by the unbeaten Demian Maia at UFC 83 in the month of April, 2007 which was the organization’s first trip to Montreal, Canada. We will keep you posted when the UFC makes this bout official for their second trip to the north of the border.
