EliteXC Fighters Ready to File Complaint on their Contracts | read this item

With EliteXC and Pro Elite still proclaiming that they will be putting shows on for 2009 their fighters who are under contract have had enough and are now looking to do something about it as they are going to file a formal complaint to the Mixed Martial Arts Fighters’ Association as they attempt to try and put an end to all of this and finally get released from their contracts.

According to MMA Payout the fighters are not alone in this process as their with the likes of Monte Cox, Ken Pavia and Ed Soares and if you remember they were same agents who formed an alliance to put a stop to the public auction of Pro Elite’s assets which was to go down this past November.

During the last couple of weeks it was said to be believed that Pro Elite was on the verge of finally being bought with the whole package with to go along with the fighters contracts and the big TV deal with CBS with potential suitors believed to be the UFC, Affliction, Fashion Designer Marc Ecko and former EliteXC Head of Fighter Operations Jeremy Lappen, but since than, nothing has been said of any completion of the sale. (what a shock)

Hopefully; something good comes out of this and some kind of progress could come as soon as possible because there are some good fighters under the EliteXC banner and they would be great additions to any MMA promotion whoever they may be, but until than we will keep you up to date on any further details on the formal complaint that EliteXC’s fighters are about to file in the near future.

The ufc should just buy out Elitexc and make Kimbo fight in the Wec against Miguel Torres and Faber at one time I would pay to see that in a heart beat

  @Rider 917, so would I but what is so sad is that there is no money to make off of elite at all. Hdnet brought the IFLs video rights for like $65k which is next to near nothing when you think about it and no one is going to sit around and watch rematches of that crap they only had like one good fight

the only money in Exc is from Gina and Cyborg and then what after they fight? there is not any other fighters to spend the money on
