Trigg has not signed deal with XCF promotion
Last week during an interview with 8 Count former UFC and PRIDE veteranto go along with part time announcer Frank Trigg had said that he was close to signing with a promotion very soon, but wouldn’t say and now during this past weekend, it was announced that Trigg was to headline an Xtreme Cagefighting Federation event in Daytona, Florida as part of Nascar’s first event of the year in the Daytona 500. However; Trigg says that he has not signed a contract despite reports that he is to be the headliner on the card.
Trigg who is to face an opponent that has not been announced tells MMAjunkie.com that he has not signed a contract as of yet and nothing is official.
In two fights last year, Trigg defeated Makoto Takimoto at World Victory Road’s Sengoku “Fourth Battle” last August and defeated Falaniko Vitale at StrikeForce “Payback” in the month of October. Also scheduled to compete at the inaugural XCF event in Daytona is former UFC Middleweight Terry Martin and former Ultimate Fighter season 7 contestant Jesse Taylor. We will keep you posted when Trigg has signed on with the promotion to compete at the event once we get word of the announcement.
