This past Sunday night former WWE superstar and current Mixed Martial Artist Bobby Lashley made a surprise visit at TNA “Lockdown” leading people to believe that he was going to make a return to pro wrestling, but Lashley is still on the path to resume his MMA career and is also currently in talks to face former PRIDE and K-1 veteran Bob “The Beast” Sapp in a super Heavyweight attraction.

FiveOuncesOfPain.com is reporting that multiple sources close to the matter have confirmed that both fighters have agreed to the bout verbally and are awaiting final confirmation as well.

Lashley and Sapp would be competing for a new promotion somewhere in Biloxi, Mississippi as Five Ounces have also reported that Affliction Lightweight Chris Horodecki will also be apart of the promotion’s inaugural event.

Sapp was last seen competing at the big Fields Dynamite card which was co-promoted by both K-1 and DREAM promotions in Japan where he defeated Akihito Tanaka a pro wrestler who wears a Japanese anime mask of a character known as “Kinninu Mantaro”.

Lashley on the other hand picked up his second career MMA win with a unanimous decision over Jason Guida at last month’s “March Badness” event in Pensacola, Florida.
