We all know that UFC 100 is supposed to be the biggest fight card in the promotion’s history. The card has three of the biggest fights of 2009 and will have two titles on the line July 11.
Nelo and I wanted to do something special for this event because it is going to be so big and we know that you guys have to be as pumped as we are for the event.
Brock Lesnar (3-1) and Frank Mir (12-3) have already met in the Octagon once before at UFC 81. Brock Lesnar made his UFC debut against the former Heavyweight champion and showed no “Octagon Jitters” in the opening moments of the bout. Lesnar relentlessly pounded Mir with hammer fists after getting him on his back, but was stood up after landing punches to the back of the head.
A point was deducted from Lesnar, but he took Mir back down after landing a big left hand to the former champion’s face. Lesnar seemed in control of the fight until the inexperienced Lesnar left his leg in a bad spot and was caught in a knee bar and was forced to tap by Mir.
It goes without saying that this is one of the biggest rematches in UFC history. Both fighters will attempt to unify the Heavyweight title on July 11, when they face off for the second time.
Welterweight champion Georges St-Pierre (18-2) is coming off the biggest win of his career defeating his longtime nemesis BJ Penn at UFC 94. He will now face one of the biggest threats to his Welterweight title in Thiago Alves (16-3). He is coming in on a 7 fight win streak and has defeated Chris Lytle (TKO Dr. Stoppage), Karo Parisyan (TKO), Matt Hughes (TKO knees and punches) and Josh Koscheck (Decision).
At UFC 100 both of these fighters will face off in what should be one of the most competitive fights of the night. St-Pierre’s strength is his wrestling and Alves has good takedown defense as we saw in the Josh Koscheck bout at UFC 90. This fight may boil down to wrestling in the end.
At UFC 100 the two coaches of The Ultimate Fighter “United States vs United Kingdom” will face off in what should be a heated battle.
Michael Bisping (17-1) knows he must get passed MMA legend Dan Henderson (24-7) if he wants a shot at Anderson Silva’s Middleweight title. Both fighters will be looking to finally shut the other up after coaching for 6 weeks against each other at The Ultimate Fighter house.

@MMA math, you’re on. Get an avatar ready for me! haha! while your at it, why not get yourself a new one? you know, take a new picture, tit-o. or is that the last one where you were in shape? I hear ol’ man Shamrock has his balance “balls” back, so you better look out! j/k…
shamrock would only fight someone who has a CONTRACT.
@Rick Johnson, I hope you are ready for a new Gayer avatar then last time cause I am going to smoke you again
@MMA math, the only thing you are going to smoke is Tit-o’s tiny cock. I hear PeePeeTaste needs someone to fight, or maybe tit-o can be on Bully Beatdown or something. He’ll need the publicity. You, on the other hand, are not winning UFC 100.
I seriously hope you are right dude
Brock ain’t falling for that banana in the tailpipe shit again, and Maz ain’t gonna be there to save Mir’s ass either. i got Brock by decapitation…highlander style.
