As we all know two legends of the Mixed Martial Arts world will meet up at UFC 102 when former champions Randy Couture gets set to take on Antonio Rodrigo Nogueira in a main event Heavyweight showdown and it is also possible that the winner of this fight will get vaulted back into the title picture and as far as both men exactly match up it is ‘Minotauro’ that says he has the advantage in the stand-up game over ‘The Natural’.

In a recent interview with Tatame.com Nogueira who is also a former PRIDE Heavyweight champion breaks down as to what he may expect Couture to do, but also knows that it will be a great fight as well.

“He’s a very expert and tactical fighter, will try to take me down and work on the ground and pound, I think he’s gonna believe in his striking, but my striking is better, I’m doing a lot of boxing. He’s an athlete. In the stand up, we’ll have a lot of things to show, I think it’s gonna be a great fight” said Minotauro.

Both fighters will come into the bout once again from long layoffs with Couture competing last November in a UFC 91 loss of the championship to Brock Lesnar while Nogueira was finished for the first time in his career as he also lost the title to Frank Mir one month later at UFC 92 last December.

But at the same time I expect both legendary fighters to come back injury free and both be hungry for a shot at the UFC Heavyweight title once again and at the same time you have to wonder as both of these fighters are very strategic against their opponents who do you think will be making the first mistake in this fight?
