Junior Dos Santos is looking to come in at UFC 102 and keep his knockout streak alive. Dos Santos came in basically unknown at UFC 90 and a big underdog against Fabricio Werdum. The fight that was supposed to be the fight Werdum clinched a title shot, but turned into Junior Dos Santos coming out party. Dos Santos hit Werdum with a big uppercut that sent him face first into the floor. Dos Santos followed up the big win with another technical knockout of Stefan Struve at UFC 95. He will be looking for his third straight win in the UFC when he faces off against Team Punishment fighter Justin McCully at UFC 102.
Our friends over at BrasileCombate.com got a chance to sit down with the Heavyweight knockout artist and he was confident about his chances against McCully.
While we have seen how good Dos Santos hands are, we are yet to see him on the ground. Justin McCully is a Team Punishment fighter and the team is known for their ground and pound game.
Fan Question: Is Junior Dos Santos going to keep the fight standing, or will Justin McCully get the fight to the ground and control the pace of the fight?
