During a segment on HDNet’s Inside MMA current UFC Light Heavyweight Brandon ‘The Truth’ Vera talks about having to face Krzysztof Soszynski on short notice at UFC 102 due to an injury to Matt Hamill who was his original opponent. Plus, Vera also talks about having to face Fedor Emelianenko on 8 days notice and says he would “fight him for a million bucks if the UFC let him”.

Why do all these guys think they are worth so much cash. This is beyond reason. All these second rate fighters are asking this much when they haven’t even paid their dues.

lol… there is a reason why he’ll fight Fedor for a million dollars, because when you get beat badly, of course you want a million dollars. seriously, put the same logic when you were growing up, there has to be a time when somebody dared you something, and you said you’ll do it for a million dollars. same logic, you’re scared, but with a million bucks, you can overcome it. Vera should have kept it simple… “i’ll fight Fedor if the UFC allows it.” of course they’ll pay a ridiculous amount of money to a fighter we all know don’t deserve it. Sylvia 800k to fight Fedor, remember?
