The UFC offers Fedor Emelianenko 6 fight $30 Million deal, co-promotion is the deal breaker

I think the UFC means business when it comes to signing Fedor Emelianenko, especially when you hear the latest offer they made him. The offer a 6 fight deal worth a reported $30 Million the biggest ever offered to any free agent in MMA by the UFC.
Carmichael Dave who has very close ties to the UFC reported the offer on the Sherdog message boards, along with meeting M-1 half way on the promotional aspect they claim is a deal breaker.

The UFC offered Fedor a 6 fight, 30 million dollar contract. That’s 5 mil a fight.

Lesnar/Fedor would be the biggest PPV in MMA history (we assume), and the UFC offered M-1 Global a cut of the PPV on top of Fedor’s purse.

Fedor was free to wear as many M-1 logoed items as he wished.

The UFC also relented on allowing Fedor to compete in combat sambo.
Carmichael also gave some more info that will be very frustrating to MMA fans who wish to see this deal finally go throught.
“Apparently, for good or bad, M-1 refuses to sign a deal unless the UFC agrees to co-promote.I can tell you right now, the boys at ZUFFA will never, EVER agree to that. So if M-1 doesnt relent on that item alone, the Fedor to UFC talks are dead. Look for Team Emelianenko to turn to Strikeforce next. With co-promotions already in the books with Affliction, that shouldnt be a stopping point.”
If this offer is true the ball is now in M-1′s court to explain why they would turn down a deal that gives them all their previous demands from the first negotiations (Minus the Stadium).
We know that this is still the UFC’s side of the story, but if this is accurate (which I do not doubt) this is a more then fair offer.
This is the biggest deal in UFC history and it appears it will not turn out the way the fans were hoping.

If this is true, which I assume it is…I have to hand it the Dana and the UFC. They are doing everything they can to get Fedor into the UFC. I give major props to Dana if this offer is legit. If M-1 can’t get over the fact that the UFC doesn’t want to co-promote with them and that makes this deal fall through, then fuck M-1 and Fedor is dumb if he lets these people manage him like they are…
Lol, can you imagine if UFC & M-1 co-promote. Fedor would fight on the card, and M-1 takes credit for the entire event. F*CKING crazy if you ask me, I would never allow UFC to co-promote with M-1. That’s just embarrassing, UFC took a long road to get where they are at today, and some promotion just happens to have a fighter UFC wants, now M-1 wants to jump from A to C … crazy, doesn’t work like that.
Now it’s obvious that M1 doesn’t have Fedor’s interests at heart. How can you pass up a 30 mil 6 fight deal. They don’t care about Fedor getting money cuz they want their own show above & beyond what Fedor deserves. This turns my stomach.

The UFC knows there is no promotion out there that can match that deal.
