Jason ‘Mayhem’ Miller may be facing off against StrikeForce’s top fighter Jake Shields for a shot at the interim Middleweight title. Mayhem and Shields will fight for the shot at the interim belt in hopes of facing Cung Le in his return bout sometime in the year 2020. Mayhem fought earlier this year for a shot at becoming the DREAM Middleweight champion, but as we all know those aspirations were ended with an illegal kick to the head of Ronaldo ‘Jacare’ Souza. A rematch was in the works for Mayhem for a future DREAM event,but Jacare recently signed with StrikeForce. While Mayhem may not be able to fight Jarcare in Japan he will be able to set up a fight with the fighter he called a “Vagina headed Brazilian” on Twitter with a win over Shields.

CagePotato.com interviewed Mayhem and spoke to him about potential fights with both Shields and Jacare in StrikeForce. Mayhem set his focus on Shields first who he thinks is being over hyped because he beat smaller fighters in the 170 pound weight class.

“Dude, I will beat the piss out of Jake Shields, and he knows it. If everyone thinks I’m gonna lose, that’s fine. I’ll prove them wrong when we get in the cage against each other. I do everything better than him, and I’m bigger than him and stronger than him! I don’t understand, people think that because he stomped out some 170-pounders and caught Robbie Lawler in a damn guillotine, that all of a sudden he’s the second coming of Christ. Well guess what, dude? I’m gonna smash him. When I fight him, I’ll smash him.”

Mayhem was then asked about calling Jacare Souza a “Vagina headed Brazilian” on Twitter.

“Twitter, damn it! I gotta stop drunk twittering! Yeah, I don’t know. I hate that guy. My moderate annoyance with Jacare turned to severe dislike and, uh — somebody just walked by and said “hey, you’re on that reality show.” Yeah, I am, thanks, I’m doing an interview. But Jacare, the guy doesn’t respect me, and that kind of gets under my skin. It pisses me off, and I would like to beat him up. He’s gonna learn to respect me.”
