In this video interview with Fighters.com, StrikeForce Light Heavyweight champion Gegard Mousasi responds to Paulo Filho’s recent comments that he could submit him.

Filho spoke to Tatame.com last week about Mousasi’s performance and said he would easily take him down and submit him.

“I wanna fight Mousasi and show that with against me is a whole different thing… He doesn’t have my strength, he doesn’t have my level on the ground. He can be a better striker, but he doesn’t have my strength and he’ll go down once and be submitted”, guarantees Fiho, commenting Mousasi’s fight against Sobral. “HE’s well trained, but I don’t think he’s healthy enough to beat me… If he wins, I don’t even want my salary. But I guarantee he’ll be beaten more than he was against (Akihiro) Gono”, said the former WEC middleweight champion.”

I really like this guy. He is very respectful. Even after Filho wasn’t. & this from a Filho that can’t compete without the juice. Like Moose said, the reason his head was done in was prolly cuz he was coming off the juice. The depression from coming off the juice is beyond brutal. BTW, yesterday at the gym I ran into a guy whose doc put him on depo-test cuz this guy was a heavy roid user & becuz of it his pituitary totally shut down.
