With yesterday’s news of StrikeForce light heavyweight champion Gegard Mousasi being unable to compete in the second round of the open weight “Super Hulk” tournament for DREAM 11 due to a shoulder injury the Japanese based promotion was left to seek out a replacement, so in turn DREAM has brought back Bob ‘The Beast’ Sapp to take Mousasi’s place to take on ‘The African Assassin’ Rameau Thierry Sokoudjou.
MMAWeekly.com reports that Sapp himself has confirmed that he will be entering back into the tournament for the October 6 event.
During the first round of the freak show that is theĀ “Super Hulk” in DREAM 9 back in late May, Sapp was submitted early in the first round by the much smaller Ikuhisa Minowa to get eliminated. However; since Mousasi was able to advance and defeat Mark Hunt he was injured during last month’s exhibition match-up with his Red Devil teammate Fedor Emelianenko leaving Sapp to re-enter the tournament.
But Sokoudjou has fought a bigger man himself during the tournament in Jan Nortje the 6’11″ giant who has a win over Sapp, but the former UFC and PRIDE veteran won by first round TKO, so Sapp will still have his hands full.

@dale, hopefully we will see him shoulder punch him like Crocop and we get to see him cry again
