Machida-104

I will cut to the chase, Lyoto Machida just responded to the question everyone wants the answer to; will he accept a rematch against Mauricio ‘Shogun’ Rua? The answer is yes he will, but its up to the UFC.

“Of course,” Machida responded.”If the UFC wants a rematch lets have a rematch.”

When the light heavyweight champion was asked if he felt the judges score card were correct.

“There’s three judges and all three judges scored the fight the same, he does not make the score the judges make the score.”

When Machida was asked if he would use the same strategy against Mauricio ‘Shogun’ Rua in a rematch.

“I am going to go back and watch the fight and when we fight again, I will go back and have a different strategy again. This will motivate me to train harder.”

Can Machida make the adjustments to win a rematch against Mauricio ‘Shogun’ Rua?

This was a scary fight, but I feel Machida would win again. I would love to see Shogun fight Anderson now. That and Tito.
