Two More Bouts Added for WEC 45 with Erik Koch vs Mackens Semerzier and Muhsin Corbbrey vs Zack Micklewright   | read this item

Ever since the WEC 45 event was officially announced late in the week a slew of match-ups have been added to the December 19 event in Las Vegas, Nevada from the Pearl theater at the Palms Casino & Resort as a featherweight bout will have Mackens Semerzier (4-0) who made headlines by submitting BJJ specialist Wagnney Fabiano in his WEC debut taking on Erik Koch (7-0) and a lightweight tilt with Muhsin Corbbrey (7-4) facing newcomer Zack Micklewright (6-0) for the year ending show.

MMAJunkie.com reports that one of the fighters have agreed for the featherweight contest between Semerzier and Koch, but bout agreements are yet to be distributed at this time.

Mackens Semerzier was a late replacement for Erik Koch at WEC 43 earlier this month and shocked the world in his debut as he submitted former IFL champion Wagnney Fabiano to leave a big impression on the organization brass and now Semerzier will now look to make it 2-0 against Koch who will now be making his debut after recovering from his injury.

Meanwhile MMAMania.com that newcomer Zack Micklewright who is a veteran of the Glory Fighting Championships and Midwest King of the Ring promotions has signed a five fight deal with the WEC and face Muhsin Corbbrey in his promotional debut looking to keep his undefeated MMA record intact while Corbbrey a former EliteXC veteran looks to pick up his first WEC win following a TKO defeat at the hands of Anthonu Njokuani in his debut at WEC 43.

The WEC 45 card will feature a main event lightweight fight with top contender Donald ‘Cowboy’ Cerrone taking on Ed ‘9mm’ Ratcliff while former IFL standout Chris Horodecki makes his WEC debut taking on knockout artist Anthony Njokuani in the co-main event which will be live on VERSUS.
