The UFC 106 main card is finally complete as Octagon newcomer and longtime PRIDE veteran Antonio Rogerio Nogueira (17-3) will meet fellow Brazilian Luiz Cane (10-1) on November 21 from the Mandalay Bay Events Center in Las Vegas, Nevada on pay-per-view.

The match-up has been officially listed on the UFC website where the twin brother of former PRIDE and UFC heavyweight champion Antonio Rodrigo Nogueira makes his UFC debut.

Nogueira known to many as “Lil’ Nog” has been in the top ten rankings over the years in the light heavyweight division as he has amassed notable victories in his MMA career over the likes of Dan Henderson, Kazushi Sakuraba, Vladimir Matyushenko and Alistair Overeem and will be coming to the UFC on a five fight winning streak with his last loss coming in February of 2007 in a devastating KO loss to former UFC veteran Rameau Thierry Sokoudjou and will now look to pick up his first win inside the Octagon.

Meanwhile Luiz ‘Banha’ Cane who idolizes Nogueira is virtually unbeaten in four UFC fights with the lone loss coming to James Irvin in his debut at UFC 79 in December of 2007 where he landed an illegal knee while Irvin was on the ground in a fight where Cane was winning, but has reeled off three wins with his last one coming via unanimous decision over former WEC light heavyweight champion Steve Cantwell at UFC 97 this past April in Montreal, Canada.

UFC 106 which was supposed to have Brock Lesnar defend his heavyweight championship against Shane Carwin has been replaced by the returning Tito Ortiz who takes on Forrest Griffin in a rematch from their UFC 59 match-up in April of 2006 where the ‘Huntington Beach Bad Boy’ won by split decision over Griffin.
