It’s official Cung Le will make his return to the cage after a year long absence from fighting on December 19, against Scott Smith at StrikeForce ”Evolution”. Le will make his return to the cage after starring in movies like Tekken (which will not be released), Pandorum and Fighting.
Cunge Le (6-0) will return to the cage since defeating Frank Shamrock on March 28, 2008 by TKO. Le broke Shamrock’s arm with leg kicks to capture the StrikeForce middleweight title. Le was forced to relinquish the title, which Jake Shields won last night against Jason “Mayhem” Miller. We do not know if this will be a one fight deal or if Le is back for good, but we are glad to see he will actually fight again after such a long absence.
Scott Smith (16-6) is always fun to watch and will always be remembered for his comeback knockout win against Pete “Drago” Sell in the UFC. He recently lost to Nick Diaz at the “Shields vs Lawler” card by submission (rear naked choke) and will be looking to jump back into the win column against the former middleweight champion.
This should be a good fight, but we are probably all wondering if Le will return for one fight or is back for good. We do not have the answer at the moment, but we hope this makes for a good fight on December 19, at the HP Pavilion in San Jose, California.
Cung is a big pussy he fights then runs to hollywood and he was already
im glad we get to see him fight again cause he is a damn good fighter but scott smith cmon. i see this fight being just like anderson vs forrest. le will dance circles around smith picking him apart and barely getting touched. thats probably why he took this fight
