Rameau Thierry Sokoudjou was known for playing the spoiler against top 10 205 pound fighters in the past and was coming into his fight against Gegard Mousasi as a big underdog.
Sokoudjou showed up and had a good performance finally showing his Judo in the first round controlling Mousasi on the ground. Sokoudjou also landed nice kick combonations and seemed to winning round one, but as we have seen in the past Sokoudjou does not do to well when the fight goes passed the first round.
Mousasi attempted to takedown Sokoudjou in the first round with a leg sweep only to land on his back, but was able to use his solid Jiu Jitsu to get back in top position. Once Gegard got Sokoudjou on his back the fight was over as he landed punch after big punch to the Team Quest member’s face.
Mousasi wins by TKO Strikes at 3:43 of the second round.
We knew that Soko would gas in the 2nd no surprise he always does
I want to see Brett Rogers vs Antonio Silva. That would be a very interesting fight!
I wanna see Rogers vs Lashley, winner gets the winner of Overeem Feds when it happens
HAaha Just Chillin that EXACTLY what I said last nite after the fights for mathcups I wanna see. Werdum will prolly get the next shot at Fedor but we all know how thats gonna go. Also anyone esle catch that they called Arlovski a StrikeForce Hw/fighter. If anyone is to get a rematch should be AA as I still say he was doin better then the grim, who had to cheat to stay in the game/1st round.
We should get a twitter bomb on scott coker for this huh.
