Dan Hardy will face off against Mike Swick at UFC 105 in a fight to determine the next contender for the welterweight title against Georges St.Pierre. This is by far the biggest fight of Hardy and Swick’s careers and they both know it, but they can not begin to focus on the title until they win this weekend.

Dan Hardy knows that fact and he tells MMAWeekly.com that he is concentrating on Swick right now.

“I don’t really think about (the title shot) much, to be honest,” he told MMAWeekly.com. “Swick is the next opponent and my focus is on fighting him. If the next opponent is GSP then so be it. I’ll fight anybody the UFC puts in front of me.

“He’s aggressive, he’s exciting, he likes a good fight, and I can knock him out. That’s everything I want in an opponent. Swick said recently that he doesn’t just want to win he wants to make a statement. I want 15 minutes of war until one of us hits the canvas.”

Both fighters want this title shot and have a lot to prove coming into this fight because most observers feel that are fighting to be destroyed by Georges St.Pierre in the future.
