In a press conference earlier today in the U.K. UFC President Dana White answered a couple of questions from his fighters that are under contract to the organization and one of those names is former light heavyweight champion Quinton ‘Rampage’ Jackson as White believes that Rampage will come back to the organization at some point in the near future following his work on the upcoming “A-Team” remake.

While speaking with Sherdog.com Dana White feels very confident that the new B.A. Baracus will be competing inside the Octagon once again in 2010.

“Yeah, I’m sure we will (see him),” said White during a UFC conference call Friday. “Rampage is under contract with us and this is where he makes his money, so I’d say yes.”

As you all know Rampage is a coach on the current season of The Ultimate Fighter “Heavyweights” where he has had quite a bad feud with rival coach Rashad Evans who is also a former light heavyweight champion himself as the two were supposed to face off at UFC 107 in December, but due to Rampage jumping at taking the movie role the bout was scrapped as Rampage and the UFC are at odds for the moment.

Still, White explains the situation as to what Rampage did was the wrong thing to do.

“The thing with Rampage is (that) Rampage committed to doing ‘The Ultimate Fighter,’ the highest rated season ever in the history of ‘The Ultimate Fighter,’ and then he bails on the fight,” said White. “There’s a big difference.”

Since dropping out of the fight to do the A-Team movie, Rampage has lashed out at the UFC on numerous occasions and Dana has not fought back with the Memphis native in a war of words, but must still feel that he will have his chance to speak to Rampage sometime soon in order to work out their differences, so there is some possibility that we see the former champ back inside the Octagon once again……Or will we?

Rampage never started a argument on the show rashad always got in his face, and it would be good to still se them fight.

It’s true, Rashad hasn’t beaten anyone of note, except for a washed up chuck. If it weren’t for that one point Tito would have won. Not trying to hate but he hasn’t been pushed.
