Former WVR Sengoku standout Muhammed ‘King Mo’ Lawal (5-0) got off the free agent market by signing with the San Jose, California based StrikeForce promotion and will be making his debut on the StrikeForce “Evolution” event in San Jose on December 19, on Showtime. However, King Mo does not have an opponent for the fight card just yet, but says that he is more than willing to compete as a heavyweight if needed be because he is very eager to go out there and just fight.
In a recent interview with FightHype.com Lawal says that he is ready to make his anticipated StrikeForce debut and also looking to “represent” to his hometown out in Dallas, Texas.
King Mo last competed for M-1 Global on the M-1 “Breakthrough” card in Kansas City this past August where he only needed 25 seconds to dispose of former UFC and PRIDE veteran Mark Kerr and is willing to fight at light heavyweight or heavyweight no matter who the opponent is.
However, StrikeForce will more than likely have King Mo compete as a light heavyweight as it is assumed that he could very well be the next man to face current 205 pound title holder Gegard Mousasi who has looked impressive in his two appearances for the promotion.
And if that so happens to be the case, then look for an action packed 2010 fight campaign for StrikeForce as Mo will also be looking to prove that he can fight amongst the best the sport has to offer.

Mo should stay at LHW where he can fight Mousasi cause he is not big enough to fight 250 pound dudes
