We recently were informed that during the course of the past year heavyweight champion Brock Lesnar has been effected by the current bacterial infection that is keeping out of the Octagon and in bed sick.
In a interview with CageWriter.com Dana White spoke about Lesnar asking him to keep his condition private. White defended his right to keep the UFC fans informed of his condition so that they would not speculate or worry.
“Dude, that’s my job,” White told Cagewriter on the eve of UFC 106 in Las Vegas. “Brock Lesnar is a UFC fighter. He’s under our umbrella and people want to know. If it was up to Brock Lesnar nobody would know. Nobody would even know this happened.”White also went on to say that when he spoke to Lesnar, that the champion was concerned he would never fight again. White also revealed that Lesnar was fighting at about “60 percent” of his full potential over the course of the past year.
We can only imagine if Lesnar was fighting at “60 percent” potential, what he could do at full capacity. Lesnar is one of the most gifted athletes ever in the sport of the UFC and possibly the entire sport, we are all pulling for him to come back soon.
We don’t know an exact date, but last week Lesnar’s Jiu Jitsu coach stated that he will be back in 6 months to make the heavyweights cry again. We hope he is right and we get to see Lesnar back in action and defending his title soon.
Message to Dana STFU!
Stop talking about Brock’s business!
Be quiet for a change!
