Frank Mir says the Ultimate Fighter Heavyweights are boring to watch fight

At last week’s WEC 45 Q&A session former heavyweight champion Frank Mir expressed how bored he is by the Ultimate Fighter “Heavyweights” season.
“I don’t even know what’s going on, I had to turn it off,” he said of the UFC’s flagship reality show at a WEC Q & A last week. “I’m being serious. It was bad. Some of the fights were horrible.”
Mir also went on to say that he does enjoy watching the WEC’s smaller and faster fighters for his viewing pleasure.
“I haven’t seen any fights in the WEC that could ever amount to being that bad, because the lighter guys are just more competitive,” Mir continued. “They’re in shape, they’re more strategic. Even when you go to a college wrestling match, typically, the heavyweights are boring to watch.”
I know that Mir is not saying anything that most of you guys are not thinking, several of our fans complained after the Scott Junk vs Matt Mitrione fight. But there have been brite spots like the Justin Wren vs Roy Nelson fight and the Brendan Schaub vs Damico Rogers fight.
Anyone else think some of the fights have been good, or do you agree with Mir?

I agree with Mir. This season of TUF has been horrible and the fights are boring and sloppy. In general lightweights are more exciting to watch than heavyweights but the ones on the show are particularly sluggish.

Couldnt disagree more..
This season is awesome..I mean ofcourse the HW’s gas faster..but I saw the same last season and 2 seasons ago…and this season had tones of submissions which are getting rare IMO!
