It looks like we have found the first many fight rumors for next weekends Ultimate Fighter season 10 finale, that will feature the shows contestants. Well, those not named Kimbo Slice.
AroundtheOctagon.com is reporting that Justin “The Viking” Wren will face off against his Team Rashad teammate wrestler John Madsen at next weekend’s finale.
John Madsen (1-0) was impressive in his Ultimate Fighter debut, when he took the much bigger Abe Wagner to decision and opened up his forehead with a elbow. The elbow literally split Wagner’s scalp and set the tone for Team Rashad’s dominance on the show. Madsen eventually lost to Brendan Schaub by TKO after controlling most of the fight on the ground.
Justin Wren (6-1) won his first fight on the show in impressive fashion, when he put UFC veteran Wes Sims to sleep with a arm triangle submission to move on in the competition. He later lost to Roy Nelson by a controversial decision in the quarter finals, but still looked impressive and went the distance against the much more experienced former IFL heavyweight champion.
This should be a interesting fight as both heavyweights, both Wren and Madsen will be looking to impress and show improvement since the show. They will also be looking to secure their UFC roster spot with a win as well.
