It looks like StrikeForce is dead serious about adding the best available free agent fighters to their roster and now have their eyes set on Roger Huerta. A few weeks ago Huerta’s agent announced that he was officially a free agent and free to sign with any promotion of his choosing.
According to the Twitter of MMAWeekly.com, StrikeForce is making a full court press for the free agent 155 pound fighter and had a long sit-down with him this past weekend.
Huerta has expressed interest in fighting for StrikeForce and has mentioned Shinya Aoki and several of their top lightweights as intriguing opponents. Huerta also did not close the door on returning to the UFC, so do not count on him making a decision too quickly before finalizing a deal.
Huerta is a fighter with top 10 potential, he would be a welcomed addittion to StrikeForce’s 155 pound division.
