After not being able to follow through with the payoff following season ten of The Ultimate Fighter, many fans and members of the media wondered if there would ever be a match between coaches Rashad Evans and Quinton ‘Rampage’ Jackson. But, according to Dana White the former light heavyweight champion will be making his return to the Octagon in 2010.
At the UFC 107 pre-fight press conference the UFC President says that he has got word from Jackson via text messaging that he will be coming back just hours before last weekend’s Ultimate Fighter “Heavyweights” finale.
White was also asked if the originally scheduled grudge match between Rashad Evans and Rampage will happen once he returns should Evans get passed Thiago Silva at UFC 108 as he replied with a simple “yes and yes”.
But as far as that goes, White and Rampage have been at each others throats since the former champ decided that he wanted to partake in the remake of the 1980 series of “The A-Team” in a full length featured film on the big screen as Whites states that the two have been arguing since that day Rampage asked for the favor.
So, there you have it as Rampage will be coming to an Octagon near you once again and it now makes you think if Rampage will be at the UFC 108 main event when Rashad Evans faces Thiago Silva to help hype up their fight even more bigger than it already is?
