H.I.T squad member Brian Foster (13-4) has shown in his two UFC fights he does not know the meaning of boring. His first win with the promotion came over veteran and former WEC welterweight title contender Brock Larson at UFC 106 by submission (Punches) and Foster was dominant.
Now Foster will face another veteran fighter when he steps in to face off against Chris “Lights out” Lytle at UFC 110, on February 21, 2010 in Sydney, Australia. Foster announced he will step in for the injured Dong Hyun Kim via a post on his Facebook account.
Dong Hyun Kim was supposed to face Lytle, but was forced off the card recently with a knee injury he suffered during training. Foster will replace him in the welterweight bout.
I am interested in seeing how Foster will do against Lytle. I did not think he had a chance against Larson, but his wrestling and striking was very good.
I expect Larson and Foster to compete for the “Fight of the Night” bonus given their styles and pacing when they meet up at UFC 110.
I am excited about this fight! Foster beat the hell out of Larson and Lytle always brings it should be great.
