It looks like Marcus “Big Baby” Jones has decided to end his career in Mixed Martial Arts (again), after a knockout loss to rival and former friend Matt Mitrione at the Ultimate Fighter season 10 finale.

Around the Octagon is reporting that sources from Jone’s training camp in Gracie Tampa, have informed them of the former first round pick of the Tampa Bay Bucaneers has also decided to retire from MMA.

I like Marcus his ground and pound was deadly and so was his Jiu Jitsu, but his limited standup caused him to be knocked out twice on the Ultimate Fighter.

I personally liked seeing Marcus fight, because he was always a “Gentle giant” until he got in the Octagon. I hope he returns to the sport, if he fixes the holes in his standup he could be a solid fighter for years to come.

“Big Baby” did retire after his semi-final loss to Brendan Schaub, but the UFC convinced him to come back for the finale. Hopefully, they can change his mind again.
