Not too long ago prior to this past weekend’s UFC 108 event in Las Vegas, Nevada main event headliner was rumored to have had an ankle injury coming into the bout, but according to SI.com writer Josh Gross via his Twitter said that Silva had a serious back injury and was considering to also drop his name off the card as well as the other 13 UFC fighters who were originally scheduled to compete on the injury plagued event.

Somthing seemed up. He wasnt moving as fast as he usually is and you could tell when he was on his feet he was having trouble moving side to side…awesome card for so many injuries leading up to it but i think silva would be rashad 9-10 times.
