A “Fight of the Night” potential bout is expected for the UFC’s third trip to the city of Montreal, Quebec, Canada as lightweights Sam Stout and Jeremy Stephens will be duking it out at UFC 113 on May 1, 2010.

According to MMAJunkie.com both fighters have already verbal commitments in place, but bout agreements are still yet to be signed.

Coming fresh off the biggest victory in his MMA and Octagon career, Canada’s own Sam Stout ( 15-5-1) gained a unanimous decision over Joe Lauzon earlier this month at UFC 108 and also picked up the “Fight of the Night” bonus in his second straight fight in the process as he was also awarded the honor for his previous bout with Matt Wiman in Montreal for UFC 97 this past April. Stout will look to keep his recent torrid streak hot as he takes on fellow lightweight slugger Jeremy Stephens.

As for Jeremy Stephens (16-5), he recently snapped a two fight losing streak by also picking up a decision win over Justin Buchholz at UFC Fight Night 19 this past September and will also be looking to keep it going by knocking off a very durable Sam Stout in the process which will be no easy task.

UFC 113 is expected to once again be held at the Bell Centre in Montreal where the anticipated light heavyweight championship rematch will culminate as Lyoto Machida defends his title against former PRIDE Grand Prix champion Mauricio ‘Shogun’ Rua in the main event.
