Welterweight Paul Taylor will be making the move from welterweight to the lightweight division for his upcoming fight at UFC 112 according to sources.

MMAJunkie.com got the scoop on Taylor’s upcoming fight against John Gunderson at UFC 112, on April 10, at the Ferrari world theme park in Yas island.

Paul Taylor (10-5) is known for his swing for the fences fast paced style, but always seemed small for the welterweight division. Taylor has exchanged wins and losses while fighting at the 170 lb. division and recently lost to John Hathaway by at UFC 105 by unanimous decision.

John Gunderson (22-7) recently lost his debut bout at UFC 108 to Rafaello Oliveira by decision, after filling in for Sean Sherk on short notice. Gunderson has fought for the IFL and Desert Brawl promotion in the past, he also has notable wins over Brian Caraway and “Crazy horse” Charles Bennett while fighting for smaller promotions.
