The roster for the upcoming EA sports mixed martial arts game “EA MMA 2010″ is coming along nicely with three new additions over the course of the past week.
Yesterday at the “Madden Bowl” 2010 former PRIDE dual champion Dan Henderson signed his contract to be a part of the upcoming game. I am not sure if Henderson will also be a part of UFC 2010 Undisputed by THQ, but if he is he will be the only fighter to be featured in both games.
On MMAJunkie.com Radio UFC veteran Frank Trigg was also revealed as a playable character in the week.
EA Sports also confirmed StrikeForce middleweight and former Army Ranger Tim Kennedy and undefeated welterweight Tyrone Woodley were also confirmed via the game’s Twitter.
DREAM lighweight champion Shinya Aoki’s Rainbow pants were also confirmed as a part of his attire as well, but it slips my mind as to where that was confirmed at the moment.
There has been no official release date EA Sport’s first game featuring the sport, but so far we do know it will include some of DREAM and most of StrikeForce’s roster as playable promotions through out the game.
*Side note: You can now watch the StrikeForce ‘Miami’ welterweight preliminary bout between Joe Riggs and Jay Hieron for free, on the StrikeForce official website.
