As the UFC prepares for a trip up north of the border in the city of Montreal , Canada for a third straight year in the month of May a middleweight bout is being added with a pair of former Ultimate Fighter alums with ‘Filthy’ Tom Lawlor taking on ‘Crazy’ Tim Credeur at UFC 113.

According to The UG sources close to both camps say that both participants have agreed upon the bout, but no word as to whether or not bout agreements were signed to make it official.

Despite coming up short in a split decision loss to Aaron Simpson last month at UFC Fight Night 20, Tom Lawlor (6-2) was able to display an impressive striking game as he had the undefeated fighter on the run in the early going to potentially win the fight, but was neutralized on the ground, but still holds a 2-1 record inside the Octagon with wins over CB Dollaway and Kyle Kingsbury and has more innovative entrances to give to the fans as well.

Meanwhile Tim Credeur (13-5) has been out of action since a decision loss to Nate Quarry back at UFC Fight Night 19 in September where Crazy Tim also displayed a very improved striking game as he had the former TUF 1 vet in trouble. Credeur was scheduled to face Mike Massenzio last month at UFC Fight night 20 in Fairfax, Virginia but an injury forced him off the card and was later replaced by Gerald Harris. Credeur still owns a UFC record 3-1.

It is more than likely that this match-up will be taking place on the UFC 113 preliminary card which is headed by a light heavyweight title rematch with Lyoto Machida taking on Mauricio ‘Shogun’ Rua in the main event.
