Following a hard fought loss in his last fight, middleweight Michael Bisping (18-3) is already getting back into action as the face of the UFC in the U.K. is to possibly face Dan Miller (11-3) at UFC 114 in late May as ‘The Count’ joins up with his Wolfslair teammate Quinton ‘Rampage’ Jackson on the card as well.
According to MMAWeekly.com sources have said that at least one of the fighters has already verbally committed to the bout, but no bout agreements have been distributed at the moment.
Things have not gone well for The Ultimate Fighter season 3 winner Michael Bisping as he has gone 1-2 in his last three fights with very tough outings against the likes of Dan Henderson and most recently to Wanderlei Silva late last month at UFC 110 with the win coming in between against former PRIDE veteran Denis Kang last November at UFC 105 as Bisping now looks to once again get himself back in the middleweight title hunt at the expense of Dan Miller.
Speaking of Dan Miller, he is on a current two fight losing skid within the organization as he has dropped back to back decision losses to top contenders such Chael Sonnen and Demian Maia and will not get any easier for the former IFL middleweight champion as he takes on a more vengeful Bisping who is going out to prove that he can hang with the top 185 pound fighters in the world.
UFC 114 will be headlined by a bout of two former light heavyweight champions as Quinton ‘Rampage’ Jackson takes on Rashad Evans in the main event from Las Vegas, Nevada on May 29.
