It looks like Kimbo Slice may not fight Matt Mitrione at UFC 113 on May 8, in Montreal, Canada. Slice’s bout against fellow Ultimate Fighter season 10 participant Matt Mitrione has been pulled from the official UFC website and now speculation is running wild that he may be placed in a bout against the newly signed James Toney instead.

Toney has lobbied hard for a fight against Slice before signing with the UFC, but it appears fans are  really upset at the possible chance that this fight is going to be booked.

Most fans have been critical of the UFC’s signing of the 41 year old former Boxing champion since he began attempting to call out Dana White at the UFC 109 “Relentless” post fight press conference. UFC president Dana White has been critical of StrikeForce’s signing of former Heisman Trophy winner Herschel Walker and most fans feel by signing Toney he is being hypocritical.

I suppose most fans also want to see Slice move on with his career and begin gaining solid experience against other mixed martial artists.

While these rumors and speculation have not been confirmed by the UFC, URDirt.comwill keep you posted throughout the day and let you know if Kimbo Slice will fight James Toney for sure.
